MY STORY
Meraki Layers was born from a shift in perspective that came with motherhood. Becoming a mom gave me the clarity to prioritize what truly matters -—to build a career that offers both creative freedom and the flexibility to be present for my family. I also felt ready. After years of honing my craft, I knew I had the experience, vision, and confidence to step out on my own. Launching Meraki Layers has given me the space to design with deeper intention, while showing up more meaningfully for both my clients and my son.

Before starting my own studio, I spent over a decade immersed in high-end interior design, working for some of the industry's most respected firms. My foundation began in luxury retail, where I spent 7 years as a buyer - — sharpening my eye for detail, craftsmanship, and timeless style. That early training still informs every space I create.​ My journey into design took shape after a formative year living in Paris, where I found the inspiration and clarity I needed to pursue a more creative path. That experience continues to influence my aesthetic—- layered, intentional, and deeply rooted in both function and beauty.​
